ChTPZ Group Ships To Customers 14% less in January - February 2008

Chelyabinsk Tube-Rolling Plant  and Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant shipped 256.8 thousand tnof pipe products to customers in the first two months of 2008, a decrease of 14% as compared to the same period of 2007 (298.1 thousand tn).

January through February 2008, Chelyabinsk Tube-Rolling Plant shipped 134.5 thousand tn of pipe products to customers, 18% less than for the same period of 2007 (163.5 thousand tn). For this period the plant shipped 70.8 thousand tn of large-diameter pipes, 27% less than for the first two months of 2007 (96.8 thousand tn).

In February 2008 ChTPZ shipped 76.3 thousand tn of pipe products to customers, a decrease of 7% as compared to February 2007 (81.8 thousand tn). The plant shipped 36.7 thousand tn of large-diameter pipes in February, 19% less than for the same month a year ago (45.2 thousand tn).

In February 2008 PNTZ shipped 72.6 thousand tn of pipe products to its customers, an increase of 7% as compared to February 2007 (68 thousand tn). Since the year beginning the plant shipped 122.3 thousand tn, 9% less than for the same period a year ago (134.6 thousand tn).
