Russian aluminium exports increased by 5.8% in Q1

According to the statistics provided by the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation crude aluminium exports from Russia reached 827.5kt to the total amount of $1.448bn in Q1 2010 (the amount increased by 5.8% as compared to a corresponding period of 2009). Russian aluminium export supplies to countries outside the CIS in January – March 2010 reached 821.4kt, to the CIS: 6.1kt to the amounts of $1.435bn and $13bn respectively.
