Electrozinc has gained 127.180M roubles net profit in Q1 2010

Electrozinc Vladikavkaz (part of Urals Mining and Metallurgical Company) announced production results in Q1 2010. In January - March 2010 the company has gained 1.086bn rubles profit including 591.806M rubles zinc sales income and 297.233M rubles lead sales income. Net profit reached 127.180M rubles.
According to the report, the main zinc consumer has become UMMC while lead has been mainly supplied to Umicore, Switzerland.
Electrozinc investment projects include reconstructions of the lead and zinc production facilities to increase outputs to 50kt/y and 110kt/y respectively.
