OMZ Group, OAO NPO TsNIITMASH and OAO AHK VNIIMETMASH sign a strategic partnership agreement

On May 25 OMZ Group signed a general strategic partnership agreement with two leading Russian engingeering research institutes, OAO Scientific and Production Facility 'Central Scientific and Research Institute for Engineering Technology (OAO NPO TsNIITMASH) and OAO Joint Stock Holding Company 'Russian Scientific, Research and Development Institute for Metallurgical Engineering VNIIMETMASH named after academic Tselikov (OAO AHK VNIIMETMASH).

The agreement aims to develop mutually beneficial cooperation, involving rapid technological and production modernization, development and implementation of new modern materials and design projects for OMZ Group companies, building upon the existing scientific and research potential of all parties, as well as existing and perspective intellectual property. The parties will aid each other in promotion of their products, develop mutually beneficial technical and marketing policy, ensure competitive advantages for the participants' products.

OAO Scientific and Production Facility 'Central Scientific and Research Institute for Engineering Technology (OAO NPO TsNIITMASH) is the Russian leader in fundamental and applied scientific and development, design and technological projects aimed at the creation of progressive, ecological and economical technologies and equipment, used in new highly efficient nuclear power plants, heat units with supercritical parameters, units with steam cycles, next-generation metallurgical equipment. TsNIITMASH is the developer and patent holder for steels and welding materials used in reactor casings, steam generators, pressure compensators, hydraulic tanks, primary circulation pumps, stainless steel equipment and other mission-critical units, including turbines and piping for VVER-1000 and AES-2006.

Russian Scientific, Research and Development Institute for Metallurgical Engineering VNIIMETMASH named after academic Tselikov (OAO AHK VNIIMETMASH) performs whole range of services for the development of new equipment, from fundamental and applied research to supply and maintenance.
