Russian steel exports to EU reached less than 50% of the quota in January – July 2010
European Commission reports that Russian steel supplies to EU in January – July 2010 exceeded 1.5Mt which makes 47.4% of the quota set by the EU.

According to an Agreement signed between EU and Russia on October 26, 2007, in 2007 Russian steel products supplies in 2207 exceeded 2.31Mt with the quotas reaching 2.904Mt to the amount of not exceeding EUR 1.015bn. In 2008 Russian quotas were raised allowing supplies to the amount of EUR 1.06bn.
