Izhorskiye Zavody to supply petrochemical equipment for Tuapsinsky oil refinery

Izhorskiye Zavody, a part of OMZ Group, had won a contract for the delivery of heavy petrochemical equipment for OOO RN-Tuapsinsky NPZ. The contract involves manufacturing of six heavy vessels for deep oil refinery and production of high quality Euro-5 compliant petroleum. Overall weight of the equipment to be delivered exceeds 5 thousand tons.

Design and manufacturing of the vessels will be conducted in accordance with the requirements of ASME Code and Russian regulations for petrochemical equipment.

The project's licenser is the US company Chevron Lummus Global, one of the largest international energy companies. The development of design and technological documentation will be conducted by Izhorskiye Zavody.

The contract is to be completed by the 2nd quarter of 2012.

Located in Krasnodarsky region, Tuapsinsky oil refinery is owned by OAO NK Rosneft, the largest Russian oil company. Currently the facility is undergoing large-scale modernization, aimed to increase the refinery's capacity from 5 to 12 million tons of oil per year; refinery depth will exceed 95%.
