Non-ferrous metals output in Russia has increase raised since beginning of 2010

Reportedly, primary aluminium output in Russia grew by 100.6% in January – July 2010 as compared to the corresponding period of 2009. LME price for primary aluminium grew by 2.9% reaching $1 988 per a ton in July compared to June 2010. Refined copper output grew by 112.4% in January – July 2010 as compared to the corresponding period of 2009. An average price for refined copper at LME in dropped to $6 722 July 2010. Refined copper production at Norilsk Nickel enterprises grew by 100.1% % in January – July 2010 as compared to the corresponding period of 2009, while at Urals works copper production grew by 122.9% including Uralelectromed: 119.7% up, and Kyshtym Electrolytic Copper Plant: 134.5% up. Novgorod Steel Works increased refined copper output 1.3 times as compared to January – July 2009. Nickel output in January – July 2010 grew by 105.4% compared to the corresponding period of 2009. An average LME price for nickel dropped to $19 492 per a ton in July 2010. Nickel output at Norilsk Nickel enterprises grew by 102.8% as compared to the corresponding period of 2009, Yuzhuralnickel: 115.3% up, and Ufaleynickel: 2.1 times up.
