Russian aluminium semi-products output continues to grow

In January-July 2011 aluminium products manufacture in Russia trended to rise: aluminium alloys output grew by 40.1% yoy, bars and profiles: 24.7% up, rolled products: 39% up.

On July 2011 aluminium alloys production rose by 3.8% compared to the corresponding period of 2010 , bars and profiles: 1.1% up, rolled products: 1.7% down.

«Aluminium products output increase due demand grow in Russia and abroad,» Leonid Khazanov, the observer of Metal Supply and Sale Magazine, noted.
