Izhora Pipe Plant produced 200 000th large diameter pipe
The pipe, 1420 mm in diameter with a wall thickness of 21.6 mm and 12 m in length is designed to be used in the second stage of construction of the “Gryzovets – Vyborg” pipeline (project of Gazprom, JSC). The gas conveyed through the territory of the Vologodsky and Leningradsky regions serves to fill “Nord Stream” pipeline.
In 2011 Izhora Pipe Plant dispatched over 40k tons of large diameter pipes for the “Gryzovets-Vyborg” gas pipeline. Over 130 k tons of pipes were supplied for this project.
Along with supplies for the “Gryazovets - Vyborg” pipeline, Izhora Pipe Plant is involved in other projects as well including production of about 20 k tons of large diameter pipes for “Bovalenko-Ukhta” gas pipeline in August 2011. More than 10 k tons of pipes are intended to produce for “Ukhta – Torzhok” gas pipeline system.

It is worth noting that the one thousandth tube was produced in 2009 and for the "Sakhalin-Khabarovsk-Vladivostok" project.
