In 2016 Yakovlevsky mine is going to reach an annual production level of 4.5 million tons
By 2016, Yakovlevsky mine (located in the Belgorod region), intends to reach the level of 4.5 million tons per year. With the increase in extraction volumes the enterprise is planning to increase the capacity of a grinding-sorting factory, as well as build a new charging complex. Due to this the number of enterprise employees is planned to increase by almost 40% by 2016.
At present, production shows the unprecedented rate of growth.
For the first time in the history of the enterprise 1 million tons of ore is planned to extract 1 million tons of ore at Yakovlevsk mine in 2011.
Since 2008, the mine has consistently doubled up the amount of production yearly, from 250k tons to 500kl tons and so on.
Explored reserves of the Yakovlevsk mine amount to 9 billion tons, extraction is performed at the depth of 600 meters.
