UMMC-OCM overlooks the Czech market

Management of UMMC-OCM (UMMC non-ferrous metals processing enterprises management company), and representatives of Metalimex (Czech Republic) discussed cooperation prospects during a visit to Verhnjaja Pyshma.

In particular, foreign experts were interested in copper and brass flats, manufactured by Kirov Non-Ferrous Metals Processing Plant on the new casting and rolling complex. Ultra thin radiator foil (25microns) and tapes for mechanical engineering and automotive industries, as well as copper roofing tape, completely corresponding to the European standards are manufactured here on the most state-of-the-art equipment.

“ Technology, used at the Kirov Non-Ferrous Metals Processing Plant allow to produce tapes with high steadiness of mechanical properties while specially selected chemical composition provides a significant strength of produced materials”, said Aleksey Shcherbakov, Sales and Marketing Director of UMMC-OCM.

Representatives of Metalimex also learned about recent advances in production technology of rolled tubular products including capillary tubes and condenser tubes for heat exchanging machines. Examining the samples, the Czechs were able to evaluate quality and technical specifications of products.

In addition, the parties discussed the possibility to deliver copper pipes by Copper Pipes Plant (located in Serbia, Majdanpek) to the Czech Republic. Products of this enterprise are sold through UMMC-OCM dealer network.

Furthermore, by the end of the visit both parties signed the letter of intent and the plan of the future cooperation.
