Abinsky Steel Works will build a steel melting plant

“Construction of the second stage of the Abinsky electrometallurgical plant, steel plant worth about 10 billion rubles, will begin in November 2011. The capacity of the plant will reach 1.3 million tons of steel billets per year. It is going to be built on company’s own finances. The launch is scheduled for August 2014”, said Alexander Kalugsky, Director General of Abinsky Steel Plant.

According to Alexander Kalugsky, Abinsky Steel Works is engaged in production of construction fittings, producing 500k tons of finished product per year. The Works is mainly focused on domestic supplies. “A large part of product is used for Olympic construction is Sochi”, said Alexander Kalugsky.
