UC RUSAL entered the Community of electricity markets buyers

UC RUSAL, the world’s largest aluminum producer, joined the non-commercial partnership “Community of buyers of wholesale and retail electricity markets” (non-commercial Community of electricity markets buyers).

UC RUSAL is the largest electricity consumer in Russia, accounting for about 7% of total electricity consumption of the country. The company’s participation in partnership is especially important, against the background of the electricity tariffs reaching the critical level for the most consumers and the need to harmonize the regulatory legislation.

RUSAL decision to join the non-commercial partnership was made during the meeting of the Supervisory Board.
