New realities of the Russian metal and steel market
All metal market experts have recently drawn a conclusion that it’s practically impossible to make an accurate forecast of metal supply, demand, and prices for more than 2-3 months in advance. What to do then? How to make technical-economical assessment of investments and new projects? How to calculate output, revenue, cost, income, and so on? Perhaps, only collective analysis performed by competent specialists can give more or less accurate prediction. To give such an analysis is one of the purposes of the annual prestigious conference Russian Metal and Steel Market, which will be held at Renaissance Hotel on November 12, 2012.
The forum will bring together more than 250 directors and top managers of ferrous metallurgy enterprises, metal trading companies, steel manufacturers, and other consumers of steel products. They will hear and discuss 25 reports and presentation on various aspects of production and consumption of steel pipes, metal products, and structures. Among the speakers: V. Semyonov (Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation), N.Lyadov (MMK), V.Oborsky (TMK), Y.Sunyaev (Severstal Russian Steel), N.Zaitsev (OMK-Steel), S.Khorn (NLMK-Sort), Y.Mishin (METALLOINVEST), S.Frolov (KOKS Group), A.Deineko (Pipe Industry Development Fund), S.Glushkov (UMMC-Long Steel plant in Tyumen), P.Kalabukhov(Revyakino Steel-Rolling Plant), Y.Lukanin(RUSPOLYMET), S.Maslennikov (Steelinvest), A.Sukhnev (Steel Industrial Company), T.Elford (Stemcor), and others.
